Sacha's CV

Sacha’s love of acting began in Primary school when she began drama classes. Her teachers would constantly write ‘Sacha talks to much’ in her reports, but in drama, she had finally found a class where her story telling fit and she welcomed the opportunity to create her own skits and content. At 11, Sacha enrolled in classes at The Academy of Television.

In high school she continued to develop her skills, continually being voted Drama Captain over a number of years. At age 15 Sacha went to the lengths of organising a drama festival for her school, as well as hosting and directing a play and acting in another within the same festival.

Acting History

Sacha has performed in Melbourne fringe festival shows, independant theatre and short and feature films being shot in Melbourne over the past few years.

Sacha’s past television performances include the character of “Vanmanthy” in the full series of “The Hollowmen” with one of the most successful (and nicest!) Australian production companies, Working Dog. “The Hollowmen” went on to receive the award for best comedy at the 2008 Logie awards!

She has had guest spots on tv shows “City Homicide”, “Woodley” and “It’s a Date” along with several national advertisements including the much recognised Good Guys ad, where she dances on a washing machine and even mimes shaving her face.

After a year of improvisational theatre/comedy classes Sacha formed the improvisation group ‘impro chimps’ with a group of her classmates. The ‘impro chimps’ performed monthly for a couple of years. Sacha landed a role on a Visa commercial filmed in the same studio as the Matrix at Fox studios wherein actors from around the world performed improvised scenes using surprise objects, and the lovely visa card, which was then edited into ads. She also received training from members of the ensemble at the world famous Chicago Second City (Tina Fey, Steve Carrell) Troupe prior to the filming.

Following years of valuable training at different acting schools she has certainly found her place being part of the full time ensemble 2013 at Howard Fine Acting Studios Australia. Sacha received training in acting by Howard Fine, Laura Gardner, Ted Brunetti and Marilyn McIntyre. Voice work with David Coury and Stephen Coustan and Alexander Technique with Jean-Louis Rodrigue. She has continued acting classes with this institution and others.
